For Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Hounds & Heroes grew from two things that have always been part of her life: a love for animals and a deep respect for those who serve.

Long before founding Hounds & Heroes, Bonnie was rescuing animals and using her platform to support military members and veterans. Over the years, she saw something powerful happen when those two worlds came together: an animal in need of a second chance could become a source of companionship, purpose, and healing for someone who had sacrificed so much.

Today, that idea has grown into more than 1,500 animals rescued and a mission that continues to bring veterans, first responders, and animals together.
